Hi 'Country'! Thanks for coming by. The pics that I display on my space are now mostly 'memories'. In years past, we have spent a lot of time either in West Texas, or in Colorado. But the fellow that owned the resort near Gunnison that we used to go every summer has himself retired and closed the resort. He lives there most of the time, and in Southlake, TX the rest of the time. Anyway, he says he is just too old to want to keep it open any longer. But, we still go out to Fort Davis, TX every year. There is this ranch back in the mountains that we like to stay at. Having been born and raised in the country, I just can't help going back at least once a year. I love to photograph those ranch signs. It's real interesting how creative they are. I've been to one of the big ranches in southwest Texas that I did get a chuckle out of. The ranch headquarters sits twenty-two miles off the highway. The road in/out is more of a trail than a road, and they have signs posted every so far saying "Persevere! Hdq/highway (so many) miles! (You gotta love it! LOL)
Hello, country lady, I enjoyed your space and I do like the way you presented your profile. I have a cat and she gives love bites but not mean. I'd love to see a pic of your 'mean'cat. Thanks for accepting my invite, just want you to know I'm glad you and you family are ok. hugs, Sidney
Thanks for the nice comment, we are getting Gustav rain now. It is raining pretty hard and suppose to move out by tomorrow. I don't mind, we needed it so bad. Have a great week.
Your blog entrees are interesting as usual. I'm glad you are feeling better. I like that idea of Meals On Wheels. The paperwork must be dreadful. But you know so many interesting people. I hope your day is going well.
Well hello again, just running by to say thank you for the invite you now riside on my space and although I am presently trying to ween myself off of so much time on the computer, so that I can devote more time to my artwork, I will do my best to stop by from time to time and see how your shoulder is doing amoung other things. Take it easy and enjoy the rest of the week and I do so hope we will become better acquainted as tije passes.
PS Please forgive my double posting as I get antsy and often hit buttons before allowing enough time to elapse.
Just popped over from Zeynep's space to say thanks for the "clue on what to do" as I have not previously heard about adding applications by using the small add symbol on other Spacer's sites, that is a very useful piece of information. Here is Hoping that your shoulder heals well and that your up and double handed typing in no time. Take Care and have a great week.
