9/13/2009 NEWS MEDIA FAILURE, TAXPAYER RALLY IGNORED Apparently, Obama attempted to divert news coverage by going to Minnesota to speak. Real handy when 2 million Americans plan a Taxpayer March on Washington on September 12, 2009, to have their voices heard. I found out about it on C-Span when flipping through channels on Sunday morning about 5 am.
In real American tradition, when interviewing people after the rally (not covered by regular media), those who criticized were allowed to comment. Some said that those who attended were a drop in the bucket and not representative of Americans. HELLO........... 2 MILLION AMERICANS FROM VARIOUS GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS CAME TOGETHER FROM ALL OVER AMERICA TO BE HEARD!
Another criticized the intelligence of those who attended or spoke, the taxpayers who pay the taxes to finance all these bailouts and new national debts, and protest what goes against our Constitution.
Another criticized that they chose to rally on September 12, the day after 9/11. Sounds respectful to me, to wait until the day after.
The March was planned for 8 months, according to sources pulled up on Bing search. Why have we not heard more about it before it happened, and definitely why not during and after? It was barely mentioned on the regular networks, other than covering the March, not the Rally and speakers.
One of the topics of great importance was growing our national debt into 3 trillion dollars, to be doubled by 2019, and Obama saying all these new programs are not going to cost us extra. Someone explain to me, how can that happen?
Look for yourself.....search for Taxpayer March on Washington
Americans, do you want ALL the news, or not, so you can make an informed decision for yourselves?
SPEAK UP, AMERICANS! Whatever you believe, make yourself heard. Linda T. (easygoingcountrylady) Comments (5)
